The pizza is good! I loved it! ( Very thin and soft dough. However, the pasta is not that great in the buffet... It gets dried out. And the alfredo sauce is lacking something...I can't put my finger on it.

Giovanni's USED to be THE best pizza parlor in Terre Haute, back when the owners also did the day to day running of it. Since then, then have delegated this to others, who really don't seem to care. Their noontime buffet, while slightly overpriced was really good when the owners were 'hands on'. But now, you're LUCKY if you see ONE pizza on the buffet at noon. And rarely do they make another one until ALL pieces of the one pizza are gone. This usually takes 12 to 15 minutes. And of course, they usually only make ONE more pizza. So with an average crowd, you're lucky in a normal lunch half-hour IF you can get there, and have TWO pieces of pizza, then be charged $6. I sincerely hope the owners will get this message and fire who is running it now, and go back to they way it was when it was excellent. Until they do, I will not eat there anymore.

They are always fast, the pizza is our favorite in town, and their sandwiches are pretty good, too!

Love it - the lunch buffet is very good. Decent prices. I am going to have to remember to try the dessert though.
